Having lost a few players in the usual local club merry-go-round we are extremely pleased to introduce the following new players who are likely to initially feature for the Reserves:
Aidan Midwinter (sponsored by Dave Roberts) - returns from Benhall to be the Reserve goalkeeper, and also back up for the first team.
Ben Crush - played youth football at Sax a few years ago. A midfielder with lots of energy and good technical ability, he could progress to the first team.
Sam Fryer - a young midfielder who is following in his dad’s footsteps at the Club. Technically very gifted and one for the future.
Edward Hadley (sponsored by M&R Cars) - just turned 16 and looking forward to his first season of adult football at the Club. Wide left player who has great potential and likely to be knocking on the first team door before long. Also a committee member and fantastic helper behind the scenes.
Rob Kerridge - stepping up from last season’s u16s this will be Rob’s first season in adult football. A technical midfielder who will improve and progress.
Sam MacGregor - midfielder who is dual signed. Another good young player with lots of potential.
Jake Malster - an ex Scorpion who returns after a year out. Plays midfield or forward, is great on the ball and will create lots of chances for others.
Lewis Gladwell (sponsored by Shaun’s Auto Repairs) - another u16 player from last year looking for his first season in adult football. A forward or wide player who scored goals at youth level, and is a great prospect for the future.
