Our U15 side kicked off the league season today against one of the league favourites, IVR’s A team. Although we lost 8-0 as always our girls never gave up. Our regular goalkeeper, Annie, was absent Bronwyn took her place and did herself proud, keeping the score from double figures. Girl of the match went to Pearl for a battling performance.
It was our first league defeat for 18months, yes we were rusty and made mistakes but really had no complaints about losing today.
On a brighter note, the girls finally received their winners medals and shield for winning the championship last season.
